Peter is a South African citizen with permanent residence in Australia. He has a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Exploration Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is a professional member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions and of the Australasian Institute for Mining and Metallurgy, both statutory bodies which monitor the ethical behaviour of their members. Membership of these bodies is recognized internationally for purposes of competent persons reports used in public listing documents.

Peter has worked as an exploration geologist for over 30 years in various capacities and for a wide range of mineral commodities, such as base metals, gold, various industrial minerals, uranium, and both primary and alluvial diamonds. He has held various senior management and executive positions within large and small mining companies and has been involved in several feasibility studies, initial public offerings and project and company valuations.

As a consultant, Peter has mostly been involved in diamond exploration and has consulted on projects in most of the Central and Southern African countries, Brazil, Australia and Indonesia.
